Welcome to Bridges to Jobs
Hello:
If you are unemployed or looking for a new job, “Welcome to Bridges to Jobs.”
Since our establishment in 2008 as a State of California adult education program, Bridges to Jobs is proud to have earned a national reputation for providing a high quality training curriculum that has helped many people excel in their interviews and go on to new jobs.
We are partnered with the Fremont Unified School District Adult Education program, the Ohlone College Tri-Cities One Stop Career Center in Newark and the community outreach program of the Centerville Presbyterian Church.
Due to the nature of our partnerships we are not a ‘Job Club’ that brings in nationally recognized speakers whose goal is to sell you their compelling commercial services, promote their job hunting books, motivational tapes, dynamic seminars or strategies to make your phone ring. And, we do not allow anyone to become involved whose agenda is to fish for your resume, show you how to earn income from home through multi-level marketing schemes or who can peer deep into your inner-being to unlock the hidden potential that is keeping you from your new job.
On the contrary, our program consists of our proprietary Bridges to Jobs training classes, networking opportunities at our Saturday meetings, our annual Job Acquisition Skills Training workshop that we hold in September, job search and development opportunities through our dedicated job lead development program, and most importantly, emotional support in a safe and supportive environment.
Our non-sectarian meetings are held Saturday mornings from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M on the Centerville Presbyterian Church campus (Location and map) and are open to anyone from anywhere.
We suggest you come a bit early and plan to stay after to network. We also encourage participants to bring their spouse, partner or significant other for support and to learn about what you are going through during this emotiional time.
Thanks for checking us out. I think you will see we have a lot to offer that can help you in your search for a new position.
And remember: Have Courage. Be Strong. Believe in Yourself.
If you have any questions, let us know here.
Best wishes and good luck,
Chuck Castagnolo
